What is the Gwinnett County Adventure Boot Camp for Women?

This is not your average exercise class. This is your life changing four-week outdoor program that gives you all the keys to success: fun and challenging fitness instruction, nutritional counseling and motivational training. Each day of camp is approximately 45 minutes in duration. See the calendar page for specific dates. Along with your pre and post assessment sessions to gauge your progress, you will receive one free nutritional seminar held during each eight week camp period. This will help you understand how the body works and the proper foods to help fuel your body for optimal success.

What if I'm not very physically fit?

NOBODY will be left behind or asked to complete more than they are capable of doing safely.  Nor will anybody go home unchallenged!  Women of all ages and abilities are welcome to participate.  Each day will slightly increase in intensity. You will inspire and be inspired by others.

What types of exercises are included in the program?

Exercises include: core conditioning, short and long distance running, lunges, muscular strength, jumping rope, circuit training, hiking, obstacle courses, PAR course, push-ups, Pilates, games, surprises, and more!

How often will we meet?

Participants will meet Monday - Thursday for 45 minutes during the four-week program. All participants will be expected to arrive on time.

What if it rains?

This is an outdoor boot camp and inclement weather can occur at any time so we will still meet if it is raining.  If it is raining hard, then we will meet under the pavilion if possible.  Class will only be cancelled if it is lightning. What do I need to bring?

You will need to bring one set of 5 - 8 lb. hand weights and any type of exercise mat (You can get both of these at any local Target or Walmart type stores). You will also want to bring water to keep yourself hydrated during camp. Optional items are a towel to dry off with and gloves or mittens in the winter. Dress in layers and even if it is chilly don’t worry you will get warm very fast! And always bring a good attitude!

So what will I gain in camp? Why should I come?

You will make a dramatic improvement in your physical and mental well-being. In addition, you'll meet great people who share your same passion for acquiring a more healthy body and mind. You will be finished with your training before the rest of the world has even gotten started!  When you follow camp with a healthy meal and hot shower, you will feel Adventure Boot Campunstoppable. What is the cost (investment in myself)?

Each four-week boot camp has a registration fee of only $160. For only $10 per session, where else can you get premiere or cutting edge fitness instruction for that incredible price?  Personal trainers can typically charge $50-$100 per hour for their services. This is a great opportunity to receive motivating fitness instruction by a certified personal trainer for just a fraction of the cost. You truly cannot put a price on your health, self esteem and the confidence you will gain from Gwinnett County Adventure Boot Camp. Other Options:

The Adventure Boot Camp Program is designed to be done 4 days per week. However, there is a 2 day and 3 day a week option as well. The 4 day program includes all 16 sessions and is the best way to jump start your fitness and see dramatic improvements. The 3 day per week program is also beneficial and is especially good for those who are real beginners, are Adventure Boot Campworking with injuries or who complement boot camp with other activities. The 2 day a week program is $99 and the 3 day a week program is $140, and you can choose whichever days of the week are most convenient with your schedule.

When Should I Register?

We are now accepting registrations for the next camp. Once we receive your registration and payment, you will receive a confirmation with the date of the nutrition seminar and fitness assessment.

What Gwinnett County Adventure Boot Camp is NOT:

Gwinnett County Adventure Boot Camp is NOT a militaristic style camp where you will be humiliated or an overly competitive environment where you will be pushed beyond your abilities. Once again, this is a friendly, fun environment where everyone works to the best of their ability. You have everything to gain by joining. Don't let any false fears hold you back.
